Dulcy Stout

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I chose to pursue my Masters of Social Work after
working for a number of years at a non-profit family violence prevention agency in Memphis, TN. Witnessing the devastating impacts of this abuse on individuals, and also the incredible resilience of these individuals, inspired my desire to further my education in the helping profession. I currently work for VA Puget Sound Health Care System as a Senior Social Worker at a community based outpatient clinic. In this role, I address social determinants of health (SDOH) including housing, access to care, functional status, and social support deficits experienced by Veterans and their families. I was drawn to Inside Health Institute by their commitment to honoring an individual’s dignity and self-determination. I am proud to be a board member and support IHI’s holistic and inclusive approach to health care.
