Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live your life authentically? Do you struggle to fit into a world that doesn’t always accept you for who you are? Are you carrying regrets about how you’ve lived your life, or finding it hard to connect with others? Or, are you simply seeking a safe, judgment-free space where you can take off your armor and be yourself, even for just a moment?

Hi, I’m Jess. I’m passionate about helping people with all of these struggles and more. I believe everyone deserves the chance to be loved and accepted for who they truly are, even though the world doesn’t always make that easy. I work with adolescents, elders, and everything in between. I also have a deep love for my LGBTQIA+ community, and I am looking to branch out into couples therapy (traditional and non-traditional).

My own journey through trauma and identity shaped the way I show up as a therapist. I know what it’s like to build armor so thick that nothing can get through, even when it becomes suffocating. I know the challenge of learning to trust not only others, but myself, and what it feels like to be disconnected from my own body. I also know how confusing and painful relationships can be when healthy connection was never modeled. These experiences allow me to meet my clients with deep empathy and understanding.

In my work, I use values-based and mindfulness-based therapies to help individuals and partners create lives that feel meaningful and authentic. Together we can work through past trauma, life transitions, grief, maladaptive coping strategies, and so much more. Life moves quickly; it brings joy and pain, accomplishments and regrets, expected turns and unexpected storms. While we can’t control everything life brings, we can build tools that help us weather the waves, and even find ways to ride them with more ease.

From adolescence to end-of-life, it is never too early or too late to begin the work of healing. I would be honored to walk alongside you on this journey.

You deserve happiness. You deserve to be here. You deserve to be authentically you, and I am so excited to show you how.
