Hi, I’m Katy.
Welcome. Life can be hard sometimes, and you don’t have to navigate it alone. Whether you are going through a challenging time, feeling overwhelmed, or simply hoping to better understand yourself, counseling can be a place to pause, feel heard, and find a way forward.
I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to create a space for you to explore your experiences with compassion, curiosity, and without judgment. Together, we can recognize your strengths, uncover old patterns that may no longer serve you, and work toward the changes that matter most to you.
My practice is open to individuals, couples, families, and teens. My approach is collaborative, and I help clients explore underlying beliefs and patterns, develop greater self-awareness and flexibility, and move toward the changes that feel meaningful to them. I incorporate trauma-informed and mind-body practices as tools for emotional processing and integration. My own experiences as a parent of a child with autism and as a cancer survivor have also shaped the compassion and perspective I bring to working with people navigating complex or life-changing experiences.
Whatever brings you here, you don’t have to have it all figured out. We can start wherever you are. It takes courage to reach out, and I’m glad you are here.
