Leah Brown

My most fervent wish as a counselor is to hold space to people to be vulnerable with their celebrations and struggles. I operate from a person-centered modality that centers on relationships based on authenticity and trust. I believe people grow the most when they feel accepted and cared for. It is a privilege for me as a counselor to walk alongside others in their journey toward wellness.

My background is in school administration, and I have a passion for serving all ages from children to adults. I feel particularly skilled at working with adolescents, new parents, and adults going through life changes. As a counselor I am committed to listening to your unique story with acceptance and support. I work with people age 14+ and can see people in person or online.

A little about me: I am a native of the Seattle area. I enjoy spending time with my daughter, playing with our two cats, and attending sporting events in the area. My favorite ways of practicing self-care are walking, podcasting, and crafting with my daughter. I gravitated to counseling because of my experience working in schools and my passion for connecting with people. I received my B.A. in Psychology from the University of Washington, and am working towards completion of my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwest University in 2025.
