Seeking therapy requires courage and the willingness to be vulnerable. My hope is to create a healing space in which my clients feel seen, heard, and supported so that they are empowered to reach their goals. I believe that everyone has the ability within themselves to make changes to live an authentic and thriving life. I strive to create a safe and inclusive environment where all identities and backgrounds feel welcome - it’s a privilege to hear the life stories and experiences of my clients. Life can be challenging and confusing, however, it is possible to live with more peace and less suffering.
My therapeutic approach is a combination of existentialist, trauma-informed, and humanistic modalities. My background in holistic wellness means that I see the importance of tending to the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. You are the expert on your life and together we can take steps toward alleviating things like chronic pain/illness, stress, anxiety, depression, and other concerns you might have to help you feel more fulfilled.
About me: I moved from Arizona to Washington three years ago with my two cats, Archie and Benny. It was one of the best decisions of my life! I love spending time outside in nature and staying active to support my mental and physical health. Some of my favorite things to do are baking, hiking, traveling, and collecting too many houseplants.
My experience working as a health coach helped me realize that pursuing a career as a counselor was the next right step. I have a B.S. in Psychology and will receive my Masters in Counseling Psychology from Bastyr University in 2025.
