Anisha Devnani
Welcome—I want to honor the bravery it takes to be here. Asking for help can feel scary and overwhelming, and that is completely normal. Therapy is not about having all the answers; it’s about starting the journey of knowing yourself better and creating space for growth and healing.
I didn’t start my own journey until my 30s, when I finally found the words to name and share my feelings. That changed how I saw myself and my relationships, and it inspires me to help others do the same. Finding words can be hard—sometimes we can explain things with our minds but still feel far away from our hearts. In therapy, I want to help connect those two, so your head and heart can work together.
My path has taken me across different cultures and places. I was born and raised in India, grew up more in Florida, and then spent ten years working in tech in Seattle. Change has shaped me, and I know what it feels like to be stuck or overwhelmed. At those times, I use Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help notice and listen to the different “parts” inside us. Some parts may want to protect us, while others may feel scared or conflicted. By giving each part space, we can better understand them before rushing to fix things.
I see health as caring for the whole person, not just treating symptoms. Real healing happens when we look at the deeper roots of pain and work gently with them for lasting change. In our sessions, I use a person-centered approach, which means I meet you where you are. I also use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you discover and live by your values. Together, we’ll look at your thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and relationships with openness, humor, and honesty, while keeping your story at the center.
Your story may come with challenges—physical, emotional, intellectual, or spiritual. These may show up as anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, life changes, chronic illness, identity questions, or shifting roles. These struggles often shape how we connect with ourselves and with others, creating a gap between what we feel inside and how we show up in the world. This gap can leave us feeling alone, unseen, or misunderstood. My role is to help build a bridge across that space, so you can move toward living with more honesty, freedom, and alignment with your values.
Above all, I want to help you give voice to your untold story. Together, we will create a safe space where you can share openly, explore deeply, and discover new possibilities for yourself.
